Funding opportunity: Developing digital roads and improving air quality

Highways England is investing up to £20 million across two parallel competitions to develop innovative ideas and solutions that must change the way UK roads are designed, managed and used, particularly focused on using digital technology to improve air quality. The solutions must not have already been demonstrated on the strategic road network in England. There is a development or pilot only competition and a feasibility study competition, both of which open on 11 February and close on 1 May.
