Applications are now open for the latest round of ERDF funding, with large amounts available in the West Midlands. Below, you will find the links to various available funding opportunities for different parts of the region. Priority 1 – Research and Innovation:
This call is looking to support research and innovation. This includes enhancing research and innovation infrastructure and capacities to develop research and innovation excellence, and promoting centres of competence, in particular those of European interest. It also includes promoting business investment in research and innovation.

Priority 2 – IT and Comms:
This is a call to run a project enhancing access to, and use and quality of, information and Communications Technology through development of new products and services as well as enhancing demand for these technologies.

Priority 3 – SME Support:
This is a call for project’s enhancing the competitiveness of small and medium sized enterprises, especially in regards to innovation, entrepreneurship and engaging in international markets.

Priority 4 – Low Carbon:
This call is looking to support the shift towards a low carbon economy in all sectors through development and adoption of new technologies. This is in areas such as energy, infrastructure, and housing.

Priority 5 – Climate Change:
This call is for project’s promoting climate change adaptation, risk prevention and management in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire. This funding is for promoting investment to address specific risks, ensuring disaster resilience and developing disaster management systems.
Priority 6 – Environment and Resource Efficiency:
This call is for projects focused on preserving and protecting the environment and promoting resource efficiency. This is aimed at projects focused on preserving biodiversity, reducing air pollution, and reducing the impacts of the waste and water industries.
