The Worcestershire Natural Networks scheme aims to boost the biodiversity in Worcestershire in a joint ERDF-funded venture between Worcestershire County Council and Worcestershire Wildlife Trust The scheme will deliver habitat improvements to benefit wildlife across Worcestershire and offer up to 45% funding for various projects that achieve this. These projects will will directly enhance biodiversity – for example, creating wildflower meadows, reedbeds, or new ponds and these must be publicly-accessible areas (although part of the funding can enable this). These grants are aimed at SMEs, parish councils, and third sector organisations.
