The Greater Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership (GBSLEP) is looking to appoint a Sustainability Officer to join the team on a temporary basis until the end of March 2022. As a collaborative partnership, GBSLEP work for the benefit of everyone who lives and works in the GBSLEP area. This exciting, influential role has a key responsibility to support the organisation to achieve its net zero ambitions. To do this, the Sustainability Policy Officer (working with partners, stakeholders and other LEP Officers) will support the development, commissioning and co-ordination of sustainability focused interventions and related policy and internal processes review. The successful candidate will need to show that they have a passion for innovative approaches and a drive to deliver substantive policy change at a local level and positive attitude to guide internal organizational changes.
