Green Bridge Supply Chain Programme – third round of applications
The Green Bridge Supply Chain Programme is a new scheme funded with £20 million from the Regional Growth Fund. Existing SME supply chain companies are invited to apply for funding to develop, grow and diversify their businesses within the green sector across the West Midlands.
The Greater Birmingham & Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership is working with the LEPs in the Black Country, Coventry and Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent and The Marches to deliver this important initiative.
Grant support of between £20,000 and £100,000 is available to develop new markets, new products, skills development and purchase of capital equipment. However applications of funding over £100,000 may be considered, where the applicant demonstrates significant economic benefits to the West Midlands both in terms of the level of investment and new job creation.
The third round of applications for the Green Bridge Supply Chain Programme opens today and runs until November 1 2013.
In the first round, 43 applications were approved worth a total of £3.4 million which have leveraged in £14.4 million of private sector investment.
