Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) has published its new Local Industrial Strategy (LIS) consultation prospectus. Businesses are being encouraged to have their say on the prospectus. The 32 page prospectus gives an insight into Worcestershire LEP’s vision for the county up until 2040. Worcestershire’s LIS will provide Government with an important opportunity to pursue a set of propositions that exploit Worcestershire’s most significant economic assets to boost productivity and prosperity locally and nationally. The prospectus sets out the LEP’s approach to developing the LIS in collaboration with key local and regional stakeholders. Businesses are being invited to comment on the proposed approach and agree the description of the area’s economic assets and help to define a set of core propositions.
