Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles: funding fleets to be early adopters

This month saw the government announce £2 million transport funding competition for fleets to buy or lease hydrogen fuel cell cars and vans. The Gov website has guidance that tells applicants how to bid for support for their fleet to procure and operate hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles. The accompanying spreadsheet should be used to provide details of costs and of the level of funding applied for. The guidance includes a timetable for bids, stating: 27th May – Workshop for potential bidders 4th July – Deadline for submission of bids Beginning of August – Announcement of winning bids
