Aston University are looking for a new permanent director of the Aston Institute for Urban Technologies and Environment, available as a full or part-time position. This would be based at Aston University’s main campus. “As founding Director of ASTUTE you will be supported by the School’s Senior Management Team to develop an exciting plan for establishing the Institute and developing links with the region and beyond. Our aim is for ASTUTE to be interdisciplinary both within the School and across Aston University, therefore you will be able to demonstrate leadership, management, communication skills and impact in cross-disciplinary projects; and how current and future urban environment challenges can draw on expertise including (but not limited to): System Analytics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Mathematical Analysis, Logistics and Engineering Management, Communications and Sensors, Photonics, and Renewable Energy.” For more information and applications, click here.
