Aston Business School is seeking to appoint a Business Engagement Manager to work on a 3-year project part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The project is to assist small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Black Country LEP to reduce their use of energy. The Business Engagement Manager will play a critical role in engaging businesses onto the project and will deliver diagnostic support to the businesses. You will also organise workshops for the SMEs. The selected candidate will need to have a background in manufacturing and will be experienced in working with SMEs to help them in the reduction of their carbon usage and GHGs. They will also have experience of grant funded projects. They must be analytical and able to work with senior academics in finding creative solutions to reducing energy usage.
