Duties and Skills Required
The primary purpose of the Industrial Engagement Officer, is to support the project team’s marketing and industry engagement activities to ensure that the business support targets and outcomes of the project are achieved. The main aim of this initiative is to provide practical solutions to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to help them develop new products and services in the low carbon, bioenergy, Energy-from-Waste (EfW) and bioproducts markets and associated supply chains. The Business Engagement Officer will work with the Project Manager, as well as the Marketing and Communications Manager to deliver the required digital marketing and promotional activities required to raise awareness of, and support the delivery of the project to key stakeholders throughout the West Midlands, including business, industry and government bodies. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and/or holding a professional business/marketing qualification, and have experience in a business/industrial environment, and of working in a marketing environment
