University of Birmingham’s ERDF-funded ARLI project, providing the opportunity to support SMEs developing innovative low-carbon products and processes, is looking for a new team member. The Business Engagement Support Officer will report to the ARLI Business Engagement Manager and Project Manager, and will provide effective support in all aspects of business engagement for the project. This position is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and will involve duties such as working closely with the Business Engagement Manager (BEM) to engage SMEs into the project, managing the resultant relationships for UoB/SME research collaborations that develop from this initial engagement, ensuring eligible project outputs are monitored and collected, and the communication of information, guidance and regulations to project participants. The post holder will also contribute to the planning of events and meetings and assist the Project Manager and Business Engagement Manager in the successful delivery of these activities.
