They are seeking an experienced individual to work with communities, support Elected Members and senior management, and represent the Council with external Partners.
- You will bring your experience of preparing Business Cases, Professional Reports and Funding Bids related to decarbonisation and energy resilience.
- Objective thinking, devising creative opportunities and being solutions focused is core to the role, as is being skilled at working with different groups at differing levels on carbon emissions reduction, promoting use of low carbon materials, embedding circular economy principles and using digital innovation.
As the City embarks on its ‘Green Revolution’, you will help deliver the Council’s ‘Our City : Our Plan’, involving a broad range of ongoing and new; initiatives, pilot projects, proposals, designs and developments across Scope 1, 2 and 3 Emissions.
Your contributions will be core to the Council continuing progress on its 2028 Net Zero commitments as part of the city-wide 2041 Net Zero approach.
