Job Opportunity – Environmental Manager

The Estates & Facilities department of Birmingham City University (BCU) seeks to recruit a suitably experienced and qualified person to undertake the role of Environmental Manager (Maternity Cover, fixed term until 25 November 2022). The post provides an exciting opportunity to lead the University’s environmental strategy and work on a range of environmental initiatives in a large and diverse organisation. You will lead the Environmental Team, comprised of our Environmental Officer and Energy Manager, supporting the delivery of the team’s priorities including the University’s zero carbon targets, development and delivery of the University Travel Plans, initiatives to reduce our environmental impacts, and training and environmental programmes to engage students and staff. You will also be responsible for managing the teams budget.
