The Centre for Circular Economy and Advanced Sustainability at Aston Business School and The Energy and Bio-products Research Institute (EBRI) require a Knowledge Exchange Associate with expertise of developing innovation and growth within business clusters and networks.
The successful candidate will provide specialist expertise in cluster mapping, partnering, sourcing and development as part of a regional clean tech innovation accelerator project. The candidate will be required to work closely with a multi-disciplinary team comprised of academics, business development professionals and industry partners to support new commercial opportunities based around biochar and bio-products.
Experience in business analysis, modelling and mapping is required along with a practical and results orientated approach.
There will be the opportunity to work offsite at exhibitions, seminars and events and to work directly with clients alongside the rest of the team.
Although this work is in a structured environment, a high degree of initiative is required in order to achieve the required results from complex systems.
