Job Opportunity – Let’s Waste Less Volunteers Coordinator

Resource Futures is an employee-owned, independent environmental consultancy with a 30-year heritage in the waste and resources sector Resource Futures is recruiting a Coordinator to work with Waste Prevention Volunteers across Worcestershire. This exciting project is being managed by Resources Futures on behalf of Worcestershire County Council, to support its ‘Let’s Waste Less’ programme and the work of its Waste Prevention Project Manager. The aim of the post is to coordinate a large pool of volunteers promoting waste reduction messages to residents of Worcestershire. The volunteers will be attending events, giving talks, visiting schools, or promoting waste reduction messages via social media. The successful candidate will ideally be based within Worcestershire and will work closely with both the local authority and the Resource Futures Project Manager. This post will involve training and support for existing volunteers, as well as recruitment and training of new volunteers.
