This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Energy Advisor to join Coventry City Council’s Climate Change & Sustainability Team. The Climate Change & Sustainability Team at Coventry City Council has an instrumental role in the delivery of the Council’s ambitions, and in particular the vision to tackle climate change and promote a green economy. The team has a major role to play in not only setting an example for others to follow but mobilising all that live and work in the city to embrace the challenges that climate change and delivering a sustainable future presents us.

Requirements
They are looking for someone who has sound knowledge of environmental issues, including climate change, sustainable energy use, carbon reduction and management- both locally and globally and their relationship with businesses and the community. You will also have experience in researching and interpreting complex relevant data, making recommendations where appropriate. You will have a high level of verbal and written communication skills and will have a proven record in consulting and negotiating to a high level.
