About the Role:

Lyreco are proud to be the European leader and the third largest distributor of workplace products and services in the world.

They are looking for a dedicated and passionate Social Responsibility Manager to join their team.

As the Social Responsibility Manager, you will play a key role in enhancing Lyreco’s commitment to social responsibility and sustainability across the UK and Ireland.

Your responsibilities will include developing and managing strategic initiatives, fostering partnerships, and driving social value initiatives.

Social Responsibility Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Lyreco’s Community Engagement Strategy, overseeing charity partnerships and volunteer policies.
  • Manage the Social Value Portal (TOMS) or a similar platform to support the Bids and Tender Team in enhancing social value.
  • Cultivate relationships with charity partners, fostering engagement and facilitating financial donations.
  • Lead the development of their Social Value partnership’s portfolio, aligning with customer needs and enhancing social value.
  • Strengthen Lyreco’s membership with external networks, ensuring alignment with their business strategy.
  • Introduce new Social Responsibility projects that support customer contracts and enhance their social value.

As a Social Responsibility Manager, you will have:

  • Enthusiasm for contributing to society, with experience in charity work being desirable.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Social Responsibility and/or Social Value projects.
  • Strong project management and planning skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Capacity to collaborate with multiple departments at all levels of management.
  • Sound understanding of environmental principles.
