Job Opportunity – Waste Prevention Volunteer Coordinator – Worcestershire

Resource Futures is an employee-owned, independent environmental consultancy with a 30-year heritage in the waste and resources sector. Resource Futures’ services are designed to realise their vision of a sustainable world, with a focus on designing out waste and pollution, keeping products and materials in use and supporting and regenerating natural systems. They are recruiting a Coordinator to work with Waste Prevention Volunteers across Worcestershire. This exciting project is being managed by Resources Futures on behalf of Worcestershire County Council, to support their ‘Let’s Waste Less’ volunteer programme and the work of their Waste Prevention Project Manager.

The aim of the post is to coordinate a large pool of volunteers promoting waste reduction messages to residents of Worcestershire. The volunteers will be giving talks, attending events, visiting schools, or promoting waste reduction messages via social media. The successful candidate will ideally be based centrally within Worcestershire and will work closely with both the local authority and the Resource Futures project manager.
