Make UK Manufacturing Awards- Apply by 27 June 2025

Entering the Manufacturing Awards is an opportunity to celebrate professional achievements for both apprentices and businesses across the manufacturing sector.

The Make UK Business Awards celebrate outstanding achievements across the UK manufacturing sector. They recognise companies that drive excellence through innovation, growth, sustainability, and a commitment to developing future talent. The awards highlight businesses of all sizes that demonstrate leadership in areas such as health and safety, environmental responsibility, and community impact. Each category showcases the diverse strengths and contributions of manufacturers.

Business Award Categories
  1. Business Growth and Strategy
    Recognises companies demonstrating dynamic growth through strategies like market expansion, product diversification, or international trade initiatives.
  2. Developing Future Talent
    Honours organisations that actively build skills and promote engineering and manufacturing careers, both internally and within their communities.
  3. Energy and Sustainability
    Acknowledges efforts to enhance environmental performance through initiatives like energy efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainable practices.
  4. Health, Safety and Wellbeing
    Rewards companies that have improved workplace health and safety cultures, focusing on employee wellbeing and proactive safety measures.
  5. Innovation
    Celebrates the development and implementation of innovative products, processes, or business models that drive productivity and growth.
  6. Manufacturing Matters
    Recognises manufacturers making significant societal impacts through community engagement, employee support, or products that benefit society.
  7. SME of the Year
    Honours small and medium-sized enterprises (with fewer than 250 employees) that exhibit exceptional initiative, innovation, and management practices.
  8. Manufacturer of the Year
    The premier award, selected from national winners across all categories, recognising outstanding overall performance in manufacturing.
The Process
  1. Select which category you’d like to enter and submit your entry
  2. Entries will be judged by an independent panel of judges
  3. Shortlists will be revealed in the Autumn
  4. Winners will be announced at our Regional Dinners in October/November across the UK
  5. Regional winners go on to be judged nationally with the National Winners announced at our Gala Dinner in January 2026
