The Midlands Environmental Business Company (MEBC) Awards aim to showcase business excellence in the Low Carbon and Environmental Technologies Sector and to encourage sustainable economic growth. These awards set your organisation as a leader in the industry, and former winners have gone onto take part in national technology programmes The Awards on offer are as follows: Innovation Award –
- Organisation offers services or producers low carbon products or technologies which are designed to reduce environmental impact e.g. air or water pollution, reduce or eliminate waste, prevent flooding, or increase overall environmental protection.
Sustainability Award –
- Has developed or invested in new business processes, systems or training which have improved resource efficiency (less raw material, reduced energy or water consumption, minimised waste) leading to improved performance, overall competitiveness and increased profitability.
