Midlands Energy Hub at Nottingham City Council are recruiting for a number of roles – Apply by 12/04/2021

The Midlands Energy Hub (managed by Nottingham City Council) are recruiting for 7 different positions to be involved in some of the exciting projects that they are leading in. All roles are based at Loxley House, Nottingham, NG2 3NG and the deadline is 12 April. Further information for each role can be found below. 1. Procurement Officer A  unique and exciting opportunity to help with the procurement for interesting and innovative projects being developed through the BEIS funded Local Capacity Support Programme across the Midlands with specific focus on fuel poverty, domestic retrofit and low carbon heating.

  • Salary – £33,782
  • Contract – Fixed term for one year, full time

The successful candidate will help deliver on interesting and innovative projects through their BEIS funded Local Capacity Support Programme across the Midlands, with specific focus developing scalable low carbon and renewable energy projects.

  • Salary – £29,577 (Level One) rising to £31,346 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary
  • Contract – Fixed term for two years, full time

The successful candidate will support the development and implementation of fuel poverty programmes that takes a fabric first approach to energy efficiency alongside the installation of low-carbon heating, where appropriate, on behalf of Nottingham City Council and the Midlands Energy Hub.

  • Salary – £29,577
  • Contract – Fixed term for one year, full time

The role purpose is to lead on the development of service performance information, to identify current project performance and projected output as well as ensuring that Midlands Energy Hub, and its delivery of fuel poverty and housing retrofit schemes, is continually benchmarking its performance leading to service improvement.

  • Salary – £29,577
  • Contract – Fixed term for one year, full time

To role purpose is to  support the development and implementation of a fuel poverty programme that takes a fabric first approach to energy efficiency alongside the installation of low-carbon heating, where appropriate, on behalf of Nottingham City Council and the Midlands Energy Hub.

  • Salary – £25,991
  • Contract – Fixed term for one year, full time

The successful candidate will assist and support the Regional Energy Projects Manager in effectively delivering regional energy generation projects and low carbon programmes as part of the Midlands Local Capacity Support Programme. The role will involve developing and implementing such schemes will involve working alongside key public and private sector partners within Stoke & Staffs LEP.

  • Salary – £29,577 (Level One) rising to £31,346 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary
  • Contract – Fixed term for two years, full time
