People & Planet’s Green League is the only comprehensive and independent league table of UK universities ranked by environmental and ethical performance. Compiled annually, it is credited with putting climate change on the desk of every Vice-Chancellor in the UK.
More universities than ever participated in People & Planet’s Green League 2012 with 145 universities providing enough information to be entered into the 2012 league table, compared to 143 universities last year.
Congratulations to Sustainability West Midlands members Aston University and Harper Adams, and other Universities in the region including Birmingham City, Coventry, Worcester and Staffordshire, that have all retained or gained the top ranking for sustainable performance, an elite group that only make up a quarter of universities in the UK.
