WME are delighted to have awarded their latest Water, Wastewater and Ancillary Services framework to Wave Utilities.
The new framework will cover the period from 1st September 2023 to 31st August 2027.
The framework award follows a collaborative procurement exercise with YPO, TEC and ESPO, in full compliance with Public Contract Regulations (2015).
This new framework offers a quick, simple and compliant route to market, delivering quality of service, competitive prices, and a commitment to supporting customers with their efficiency targets.
The framework also provides additional benefits from key account management, robust KPIs and oversight by WME and the other three Public Buying Organisation (PBO) partners.
Julie Wassall, WME Operations Manager who supported the exercise from WME’s perspective, added: “We are delighted to announce Wave as the winning tenderer, enabling them to build on the success of the previous framework. The framework covers all elements of water supply and management and supports public sector organisations with reducing water consumption and implementing efficiency measures, while providing excellent value and customer service”.
Tony March, Director of Public Sector & Industrial Customers at Wave, said: “We’re delighted by the success of this framework. Being selected to continue to be WME members’ direct supplier for water and wastewater services is confirmation of the excellent service we strive to provide. As preferred suppliers across the public sector we understand the importance placed not only on service but providing social value in local communities, which is evidenced through our Social and Sustainability Promise. We also possess an unrelenting commitment to driving water and cost savings, by working with organisations to find inefficiencies”.
