NHS energy efficiency fund for LED lighting

The Government has announced £46m for NHS trusts to expand use of LED lighting across their centres. This is in order to save money, reduce the carbon footprint of the NHS, and provide a better experience for patients, staff, and visitors. LED lighting is brighter, more efficient, and longer-lasting than conventional lighting so the cost savings are likely to be high in the long term. Applications close at 12:00 on 30 November.
