What will I get from getting involved?
The Trust provide an induction, full training and personal development opportunities. By the end of your term in office (3 years) you will:
- have utilised your skills and talents and developed new ones
- have brought different points of view to the Council’s discussion
- improved personal networks
- improved career prospects
- got involved in the local community
- made a difference
Do I need any particular skills or experience to apply?
They are looking for people with skills and experience in the following areas:
- ecological, climate, nature or wildlife;
- community or volunteer engagement;
- business engagement;
- marketing and communications;
- digital;
- fundraising and income generation
Most importantly you will have a passion for nature and wildlife and for helping to make it easier for more local people to be engaged with their environment.
