The Birmingham and Black Country Wildlife Trust are searching for four Trustees, including at least one Young Trustee. No previous experience required, first time Trustees welcome!
Are you passionate about nature, wildlife and changing the way people think and act about their environment? Can you demonstrate a desire and track record to learn and inspire others to improve their environment and communities?
If so, why not apply to sit on the Trust Council as one of their Trustees?

They have an experienced Chair, who encourages a supportive environment, in what will be a rewarding and satisfying role that also enables personal development and growth.
Time commitment will be 4.5 days consolidated equivalent per year.
You will be provided with:
- Full induction and training.
- Personal Development opportunities.
- The experience of being a non-executive director for a three-year period through your attendance at four board meetings and four committee meetings.
- Insights into how a small, not-for-profit, organisation works and experience of good practice in the board’s role to provide oversight and strategic advice.
- The opportunity to build your knowledge through presentations and discussions, and through collaboration at board meetings to provide advice to the organisation.
- The chance to be mentored by a board member.
