In July of this year, it was announced that Birmingham would become one of the demonstrator cities for the TSB (Technology Strategy Board) supported project to demonstrate electric cars. As part of this project, they are now offering you the chance to test drive an electric car for a year, beginning in November 2009. There is a selection process for the cars and a number of criteria to meet e.g. living or working in the West Midlands.
