Our comment: Remanufacturing, Business Resilience Heath Check

How prepared was your organisation and business during the recent extreme weather? Through our support programmes for local business, and the use of good practice from our members, we have worked with Climate UK to develop the Business Resilience Health Check tool. This provides an online self-assessment and action plan for your business. Why not check it out? This month I enjoyed a tour of the Manufacturing Technology Centre, near Coventry. This forms part of an emerging national network of manufacturing and engineering centres to help businesses develop new products and processes. Low carbon projects at the centre include new remanufacturing techniques for high value engineering products, a key future growth area for our region. Dr Simon Slater, on behalf of the SWM team.
