Yes, it is that time of year again when SWM is feeling their post-festive generosity and is offering at least three organisations the opportunity to win a year’s FREE membership with us! Last year, we gained six new members through our competition, as they all brought some wonderful expertise to the network. With that resounding success still ringing in our ears, we will consider any submission that we receive. It promises to be fiercely contested this year, as we already have our first competition submission waiting and ready to go. To enter our competition, email ‘enquiries@swm.org.uk’ with your email titled ‘Win SWM Membership’, include your name, organisation, job title and contact details and tell us in less than 300 words why you would like to be a member. ‘Why bother and what do you get’, we hear you say internally. SWM is truly unique being the only organisation offering quality independent sustainability advice to leaders and businesses in the West Midlands for over 20 years. In 2021, SWM membership grew by over 30% and we welcomed some unique and innovative organisations into our fold. We invested in our members, creating an exclusive member’s bulletin to celebrate and connect our member’s achievements and events. We collaborated with our members in our projects to the tune of over 80% of our revenue last year being due to these partnerships. We gave members their members-only networking event, the Late Summer Social, where the speed networking proved a hit to repeat this year. As a direct response to smaller SME members request, we devised an Environmental Policy Framework exclusively available for members who want it. We recognise that all members are different with different needs, and we will continue to develop our offer to continually meet them.
