Location: Chapter House South, Abbey Lawn, Shrewsbury SY2 5DE, with hybrid working
Salary: £52,616 PA + PRP
Hours of Work: 37 hours per week

This new and exciting position within West Mercia Energy (WME) will be responsible for leading on the development of and delivery of strategic renewable asset business cases for the benefit of WME and its Member Authorities in support of net zero carbon targets. It will be a diverse and challenging role that requires a combination of technical, managerial, and communication skills, as well as a passion for renewable energy.
The role will work closely with stakeholders, colleagues and external partners to drive project success and contribute to the growth of WME’s renewable energy portfolio.
Intended to be full time but part time would be considered for the right candidate. The position is initially for a fixed term period of 12 months. Hybrid working available.
