Read our blog on Community Resilience in South Staffordshire

We have been working with our colleagues in the London Climate Change Partnership (LCCP) to produce a blog to showcase the benefits of running community resilience schemes.  We have used the example of Bilbrook, in rural South Staffordshire, that benefited from a council-managed community resilience scheme that commenced in 2013.  A Severe Weather Action Plan was co-written by Staffordshire County Council and South Staffordshire Council which contained realistic and achievable actions that community members can manage themselves. As part of their series of blogs, we have promoted this example on the LCCP website, which you can access here. We will also be writing a case study of this scheme in the coming weeks – watch this space!  Or more specifically, keep an eye out on our case studies page.
