
SWM member Small Footsteps 2017 is now actively recruiting this year’s cohort of 11-14 year olds for its five day summer school exploring the natural environment. Small Footsteps brings faiths together at a time when friendship and contact across faith groups and communities is desperately needed. It will run from Monday 31st July – Saturday 5th August 8:30am to 3.45pm (Mon-Fri) half-day (Sat). Key points about Small Footsteps 2017 include:
- Builds on the last year’s successful programme and will again be run by an experienced team facilitators and helpers
- Enables young people to explore and value the natural environment
- Aimed at 11-14 year olds
- All staff and activities are DBS and safety checked
- This year’s the programme will be run at a single location Fircroft College, Selly Oak with extensive and varied grounds and ample scope for practical activities
- Transport will be provided each morning from the Birmingham Central Mosque, or young people can come direct to Fircroft College
- The programme is free thanks to generous funders
