This is a truly exciting time for the Metro team… The West Midlands is going through a period of major expansion which will see the Metro network triple in size between 2020 and 2026. The first phase of this expansion is currently underway and will see the opening of four new extensions by 2023 with Phase 2 of the programme being delivered by 2026.

Who we need
We are looking for a proactive and organised Support Officer with exceptional attention to detail and outstanding stakeholder management ability to provide high quality support to the Metro Property & Projects Solicitor in respect of the Midland Metro Schemes, the Transport and Works Act Orders and the land requirements. You will also provide support to the West Midlands Metro Team. We need someone who can conduct thorough research and assist in preparing legal documents (deeds, agreements, research tasks, providing summaries of findings and dealing with client officers including providing advice (under supervision) and liaising with members, stakeholders and third parties etc.

You will be joining a dynamic project team working in partnership with Midland Metro Alliance and Midland Metro Limited to design, build and operate the West Midlands Metro tramway and network, better connecting the people of our region.
