SWM launch new futures project for Birmingham and the West Midlands

“The best way to predict the future is to invent it” JFK SWM are delighted to announce we have secured funding from the Government Office for Science, with the backing of many local partners including Birmingham City Council, the Greater Birmingham and Solihull LEP, the University of Birmingham and many other SWM business and public sector members. The work will update our previous futures work to help produce a toolkit for local authorities, businesses and other stakeholders to help contribute to a better future as set out in our 2020 vision and roadmap work while navigating future uncertainties. The result a more forward looking business, community, and public sector working together to make a better local future, while more resilient to whatever the future may bring.
