SWM member Alumet Renewable Technologies collected the top prize at the Midlands Excellence Awards on 3 February. In front of more than 1,150 business leaders, the South Warwickshire based organisation fought off stiff competition from the likes of Orbit Housing and Aspire to win the Sustainability award.
The company specialise in providing renewable technologies to both the domestic and commercial market. Their EOS Energy division focuses on photovoltaic solar panels and is currently offering a 10% discount for any installations on a property with a CV postcode.
Midlands Excellence chief executive Ian Nield said “This is a fantastic achievement for Alumet Renewable Technologies and I congratulate them wholeheartedly. We received our highest number of entries this year and the standard has been nothing short of exceptional.”
The judges commented “Alumet demonstrated a fully integrated company wide approach combined with the development of new sustainable products and a very broad range of facts to show their significant achievements in the area. A great example to all.”
Mr Nield concluded “Every organisation we’ve recognised has undergone rigorous independent assessment and consistently demonstrated a genuine passion for excellence and performance improvement. An example to all of us, Alumet Renewable Technologies has earned its place in the Midlands Excellence hall of fame.”
