Put simply, all NEW ORGANISATIONS applying during this month will be entered into a draw to win free membership for the year. We will announce three lucky winners from the private, public and third sectors. However, all new organisations that apply during this month will secure half price membership for the entire year. There is nothing to lose!
How do I apply?
When is the deadline?
The deadline for applications is 12:00 midday on Monday 06 February. Any applications received after this will be processed as per the normal process and fees for SWM membership.
What do we look for in our members?
Our 140-strong membership network collectively contribute towards the eight themes of our Roadmap to 2030 through their work, services and/or products. Our vision is to grow our membership to be as diverse as possible in tackling sustainability issues from all angles and do everything we can to promote their best practice across the West Midlands and beyond.
It is this vast representation of impressive specialist skillsets in our membership base that uniquely positions SWM to utilise, draw upon and collaborate with them through our many consultancy projects. Put simply, we would not exist and continue to thrive without our members continued support and input.
Do you have to be in the West Midlands to become a member of SWM?
No. A great deal of our work is West Midlands-based but, as the only sustainability membership consultancy in the country, more of our projects are becoming UK-wide.
What do you get when you become a member of SWM?
SWM offer many benefits to joining us and have fairly tiered annual membership fees based on sector and size of organisation.
When does SWM Membership run from and to?
SWM Membership runs from 01 January until 31 December every year. For those who choose to take up the half price membership option, you will be included as an SWM member and invoiced from the date you agree to it.
How do we pick the winners?
We are aiming to boost our cross-sector membership community by adding a member from each of the private, public and third sectors. To select each winner, we divide submissions into these three sectors, number them and randomise the winner.
When do you announce the winners?
We will announce the three winners no later than 08 February. We will also invite those who do not win to indicate via email whether they would like to take up the half price membership offer with a 14-day deadline to reply.
