Location: Hybrid – working from home and STEAMhouse, 4 Belmont Row, Birmingham B4 7RQ
Duration of post: Four months
Part-time role: 3 days a week, with flexibility on pattern of working
Salary band: Voluntary (travel expenses paid within West Midlands)
The Volunteer Communications Officer will assist Sustainability West Midlands with its communications activities including our website, LinkedIn channels, events, and monthly newsletter.
We are a small team, and need someone who will be able to fit in quickly, contribute and deliver for our partners, whilst also helping our organisation develop and grow as we seek to create a better future for the businesses and communities within the West Midlands. Your skills and attitude will be a vital addition to our small and growing team.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone at the early stages of their career who has a gift for producing clear and positive communications materials and would like to develop their skills and experience in a variety of content from social media to website and printed materials. An interest in and passion for sustainability will be beneficial. The successful candidate will benefit from access to Sustainability West Midlands’ events and support in advancing their career in the sustainability sector. This is a valuable opportunity to gain experience in a small, busy, not-for-profit organisation in the sustainability sector.
