The Challenge Network is running a youth and community programme in Birmingham, Solihull, Coventry and Warwickshire during the summer.
Introducing ‘The Challenge’
The Challenge is a Youth and Community programme for young people founded on the belief that our community is strongest when people from different backgrounds come together. They believe that too many parts of our communities are divided by income, ethnicity or age. Their programme challenges young people by giving them opportunities to serve and understand their community.
Looking for Community Partners
They are looking for organisations that share their vision or would benefit from the support of 12 to 60 young people in summer 2011.
Their programme provides significant opportunities for community groups to interact and be supported by their young people. There are a number of ways that we would love to work together from running workshops or community days, making a physical difference to sites in your area, to fundraising for local community groups and providing volunteers.
