ESS Expo are excited to announce the launch of The Environment 100, a prestigious new initiative dedicated to highlighting the pioneers and innovators propelling environment and sustainability forward in the UK.
The Environment 100 is an open call to everyone in the UK’s environmental sector. Nominating someone (or yourself) for The Environment 100 is not just easy, it’s completely free too. It’s a profound way to acknowledge and celebrate the real change-makers in the sector.
Taking place at ESS Expo on 11 September 2024, this is the perfect opportunity to not only to honour the achievements of the nominees, but also to engage in an inspiring afternoon filled with networking, celebration, and collaboration.
Both the Expo and the ceremony are free to attend, so come and join the industry’s best and brightest on centre stage in front of 12,000 environmental professionals.

How do I make a nomination?
- Plan: Identify the person you wish to nominate and the category (or categories) you’d like to enter them for.
- Write: Write your 300 word entry and gather a photo of the person you are nominating and any supporting evidence.
- Submit: Press submit! Once the deadline has passed, the panel of judges will assess all of the entries and whittle it down to just the top 100.
