The Innovations Awards 2023, from SWM members The Technology Supply Chain, will take place on Friday 27 October 2023 at the Eastside Rooms in Birmingham. Nominations are open until 14 April.
About the Innovation Awards
01. WHY?
The need and ability to constantly innovate is widely recognised as one of the major contributors to business success. Innovation is vital for the UK’s economic growth, productivity and prosperity.
The Innovation Awards recognise, celebrate and reward the businesses, organisations and individuals who are dedicated to innovation.
They are open to individuals, businesses and organisations including universities, LEPs, catapults, trade associations and memberships from across the UK.
02. WHAT?
The Awards have 3 main categories:
- The Innovators– these 8 awards recognise innovative businesses and individuals.
- Innovation Champions– Every innovative company needs support and collaboration partners. These awards recognise the organisations (universities, LEPs etc.) and businesses who directly support companies with innovation.
- Innovation Thought Leaders– are those businesses, organisations and individuals who create the space for innovation through finance, facilities, platforms or technology.
03. HOW?
You are invited to nominate your business, your organisation or yourself as well as other innovative companies, organisations and individuals.
The judges will assess the nominations and put forward a shortlist of 10 nominees for each category. The shortlist will go to the public vote in April and the top 4 in each category plus an additional judge’s choice will go forward as finalists.
Finalists will be interviewed by an independent judging panel in June with the winner announced at the Awards in September.
