Theresa May announces £106m investment in “green vehicles”

On 11th September, Prime Minister Theresa May announced at the Zero Emission Vehicle Summit in Birmingham the government’s commitment to making Britain a green technology leader, with £106m being pledged to develop new batteries, seem as being pivotal in the move to make all new cars and vans zero-emissions by 2040, thus helping reduce our carbon dioxide emissions. Simultaneously, the government also launched an international initiative to promote green infrastructure. Our member organisation Cenex has recently held a low carbon vehicle seminar.
