This award recognises businesses that have considered the potential impacts of climate change on their business (eg extreme weather events such as flooding, drought, storms, snow and heat waves) and have taken creative steps to adapt to these impacts. Sustainability West Midlands in partnership with the Environment Agency are supporting this award as part of the Business in the Community West Midlands Regional Impact Awards 2012.
- Eligibility – This award is open to any private sector business or social enterprise that is based in the West Midlands region. The company can be wholly located in the West Midlands, or it could be a local business unit of a larger organisation. Public sector organisations are not eligible to enter, unless they are members of Business in the Community.
- Total word count is 1,300 words from beginning of section 1 to end of section 5., with a 10% margin.
- Submissions – completed forms must be submitted by email to samerina.shaota@bitc.org.uk.
- Submit a JPEG of your company logo and a JPEG photo of your activity with your application, they will use this to write up a case study if you are successful.
