West Midlands Local Authority Low Carbon Economy Programme

Last year the West Midlands Local Authority Low Carbon Economy Programme was a £500,000 programme aimed at helping West Midlands authorities use the low carbon agenda to reduce costs, benefit their residents and create jobs.

There is now a smaller Programme for 2012/13 which includes a free training event for Local Authority officers on planning on 29 November, a summit in March for senior level Local Authority staff and a series of free events for officers including one with Wychavon District Council on 5 December on ‘Developing and Implementing Corporate Carbon Management Plans for Local Authorities’.

For more information, download the flyer from the right-hand side of the page or visit the West Midlands Local Authority Low Carbon Economy Programme webpages.
