The data dashboard brings together key stats for the West Midlands combined authority. The data is based on what control the metro mayor has, and where the metro mayor’s policies could bring about economic change. These include transport, housing and jobs and employment growth. The dashboard sets out the data for the West Midlands across 16 different economic indicators, within education & skill, business & employment, exports, travel housing and environment. This links with our work with the Combined Authority on the combined authority sustainability benchmarking technical report. This report is part of an ongoing support programme to help the WMCA integrate sustainability within its strategy and operations, drawing on good local and national practice. Our report looks at the environmental, social and economic progress compared to eight other combined authority in England.
