Windsor Academy Trust’s Commitment to a Sustainable Future Recognised in Net Zero Strategy Blog

Windsor Academy Trust’s commitment to creating a more sustainable future has been recognised in the government’s Net Zero Strategy. The recent improvements across their schools delivered through the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme are identified as an example of clean growth investment across the UK and the West Midlands. They are committed to a more sustainable future and leaving the world in a better place for future generations, aiming to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2030. Sustainability and global current affairs are part of their curriculum, and the recent improvements build on numerous existing sustainability initiatives, including Eco-Schools awards, active Forest School programmes and the reduction in the use of single-use plastic.
