Role: Energy Capital Support Officer (12 Month FTC)

Energy Capital is a public private partnership created by WMCA and three Local Enterprise Partnerships, to bring together key stakeholders in energy infrastructure across the West Midlands, to ensure the future energy needs of the region are met.
The role encompasses provision of secretariat services to Energy Capital’s Board, its Director and its Chair. It also involves supporting the team to deliver a range of projects covering fuel poverty, ultra-low emission vehicles and local energy systems.
The successful candidate will co-ordinate much of the engagement with colleagues in WMCA Directorates and within constituent local authorities, in addition to public and private sector organisations across the region and nationally.

Role: Environment Policy Researcher – Graduate Placement

This role is to help support the Environment team deliver the new #WM2041 climate change action plan. This will involve project support for the team such as administration, research, briefings, events, and communications. It will also involve leading on the delivery of small projects for the team. The role will also have a graduate training plan to ensure the placement delivers the identified required skills, training and experience for the post holder as part of their role.
