Wolverhampton Council – Council of the Year 2017!

SWM members: The City of Wolverhampton Council have been crowned ‘Local Authority of the Year’ in the prestigious, national MJ Awards. They also won ‘Most Improved Council’, ‘Best Leadership Team’ and ‘Excellence in Governance and Scrutiny’ and were a finalist in seven out of the 14 categories. The MJ Awards are widely considered the pinnacle of the local government world and are judged by respected sector experts. No other council has ever won four awards on the night; they say they must now raise the bar even higher as they continue to deliver the very best for the people of the City of Wolverhampton.
