Women in FCERM are a networking group of professionals set up to support and connect women working across the flood and coastal erosion risk management (FCERM) sector. We are focussed on women and those who line-manage them, but membership is open to all.Did you know that in addition to recognising strong women, the award also recognises outstanding male advocates for diversity, inclusion and gender balance?In these challenging times it is even more important to recognise men and women who make a real difference to supporting others and champion equality in their workplace, in their projects or simply by being there for others. If you know someone who deserves this recognition we would like you to nominate them to recognise their achievements for the Women in FCERM award 2020.
Who can apply?
We are looking for men and women at all stages of their career across the FCERM sector who have pro-actively influenced and promoted gender balance, diversity and inclusion in their workplace, project or sector.The 250 word submission should demonstrate what that person has done in last 12 months to truly champion diversity and inspire others.Closing date for applications is 1st May 2020.The award will be presented at the Flood and Coast conference 8th – 10th December 2020.
