Greater Norwich Authorities: Best practice in heat and power solutions driving economic growth
The aim of the project was to deliver four high-level case studies explaining key projects from around the UK that have demonstrated the development of local energy infrastructure. This task involved reviewing strategies, journal reports and wider information to determine the necessary information and provide key recommendations for Greater Norwich.

Herefordshire Council: Adapting Herefordshire to Climate Change
Using our experience of supporting local authorities with climate change adaptation, SWM was commissioned by Herefordshire Council to produce a Climate Change Adaptation Plan for the county, develop a Climate Impact Assessment that focuses on how the county has been affected by severe weather in the past 15 years, and a Technical Report that analyses how climate change may affect Herefordshire in future.

Innovate UK: CleanTech Investor Showcase Events
Carbon Limiting Technologies Ltd (CLT) are running a series of events on behalf of Innovate UK over the next two years, supported by SWM. These events will bring clean tech innovators together with investors; giving innovators the chance to pitch for investment, and giving investors the chance to better understand the market opportunities and policy support for these innovations, and ultimately invest. These events are taking place around the UK, and will each focus on a different clean tech theme.

Local Government Association: Climate Change Sector Support Programme - Regional Retrofit Action Plan Training
Delivered through a collaboration between the Local Government Association (LGA) and Sustainability West Midlands, the Regional Retrofit Action Plan Training brought together council officers to address retrofit challenges at the local and partnership level. The training supported the development of councils’ regional work by exploring how to effectively utilise and support key partners and stakeholders both nationally and regionally, focusing on three key themes: training providers, communities, and the private sector.

Local Government Association: Local Retrofit Action Planning
This project was a training programme for local authority teams working in retrofit. It sought to support the development of their work by exploring how to develop effective partnerships locally and nationally. The project focused on three key themes: training providers, communities and the retrofit supply chain. SWM worked with member organisations the Sustainable Housing Action Partnership who provided technical expertise and retrofit, and Contented Ltd who provided coaching and mentoring expertise.

Midcounties Co-operative: Independent Social Responsibility review
Since 2011 SWM has acted as an independent critical friend to the Midcounties Co-operative providing an annual review of their Social Responsibility Report, highlighting areas of good practice and challenging them to be the best in class when it comes to sustainable co-operatives.

National Lottery Heritage Fund: Embedding sustainability into Heritage Lottery Fund operations and grant assessments
HLF commissioned SWM to convene a series of national workshops for staff so that they can become more knowledgeable about sustainability and therefore more confident how to assess the credentials of grantee applications.

North Warwickshire and Hinckley College, South Leicestershire College and Midlands Academies Trust: Embedding sustainability across North Warwickshire and Hinckley College
