The Clean Tech Business Group: Shropshire Net Zero Leaders Programme
Shropshire Net Zero Leaders is a fully funded support initiative for businesses in the area who wish to measure and manage their carbon impacts, with a particular focus on cutting emissions along the supply chain. The programme is delivered by The Clean Tech Business Group on behalf of Shropshire Council. SWM were commissioned by The Clean Tech Business Group to provide support including stakeholder engagement and contribution of technical expertise.

Coventry University Services (CUS): Clean Futures Masterclasses
SWM were commissioned by CUS to deliver 10 masterclasses as part of the Clean Futures Programme. This is one of the five West Midland Combined Authority (WMCA) Innovation Accelerators, funded by Innovate UK with a total of £33 million, set up to help drive forward the West Midlands Plan for Growth by supporting and accelerating innovation in Cleantech and MedTech. The Clean Futures Programme is focussed on supporting SMEs in the development and diversification of transport and associated manufacturing supply chains in the West Midlands, enabling the transition from fossil fuel to clean-tech solutions.

Midlands Net Zero Hub: Low Carbon Environmental Goods and Services Sector Refresh 2025
SWM and kMatrix were commissioned by the Midlands Net Zero Hub to conduct a refresh to the original Low Carbon Environmental Goods & Services (LCEGS) Sector study, giving an understanding of the current state of the sector in the Midlands, where support is needed to grow the sector, and how the sector has recovered following the Covid-19 pandemic.

Coventry College: Professional Certification: Sustainable Management
Birmingham Enterprise Community (BEC) delivered an 8 week online course on on behalf of Coventry College, assisted by a number of external partners, including SWM. The course was aimed at anyone wanting to become a sustainability practitioner, or current sustainability managers looking to advance their knowledge.

East of England Local Government Association: East of England Regional Climate Change Forum: Baseline Analysis
The East of England Regional Climate Change Forum (RCCF) brings together representatives from 8 climate change partnerships across the region, together representing over 50 local authorities. The Forum is run by the East of England Local Government Association (EELGA), who support it to achieve climate action targets. For this project, EELGA asked SWM for an analysis of each partnership’s climate change progress, and an explanation of the barriers to delivery of climate change action across the region.

National Lottery Heritage Fund: Embedding sustainability principles into the heritage sector
This project concluded nearly four years of support to the Heritage Fund, the overarching outcome being the full embedment of sustainability across the organisation, both through staff training and the development of a framework to allow staff to assess applications for their sustainability credentials in a consistent way in future.
